Mary Jo Price

Mary Jo is a San Franisco based actor who began studing acting as a teen ager in  the American Conservatory Theatre's Young Conservatory before going on to receive her B.A. in Drama from U.C. Irvine, and her M.F.A. in Performance from San Francisco State University. After grad school, Mary Jo co-founded  Theatre Forte, a non profit theatre company dedicated to producing new work and bringing theatre education to Bay Area schools. 

In addition to her artistic work with Theatre Forte, Mary Jo also acted as Managing Director. She has since earned a Certificate of Arts Management from UMASS Amerst, and has worked as an administrator  at Tandem, Partners in Early Learning, The Playwrights Foundaton, and The Children's Creativity Museum in San Francisco.

Pre-Covid, she was the Theater Manager at the Douglas Morrisson Theatre in Hayward.
